Growing up, dancing was a way for me to express emotion through movement. Now, I look to feel, interpret, and capture movements that are special moments of life that tell a story in my work.
What began as taking photos of my sister and me dancing, and my love for nature and the ducks I raise in rural South Jersey has reinvigorated my love for photography. What is unique about my work is using light, shadow, and composition to reveal quiet yet powerful moments that often go unnoticed. I look to bring a unique perspective through my lens that our clients will cherish for decades to come as they enjoy and also reminisce on those precious times of life.
Photography begins as something deeply personal — a way of holding onto a feeling.
The feeling of being on stage mid-dance, suspended in a moment that disappears as soon as the music ends.
The laughter that builds when one of my ducks waddles off across the farm as if it has somewhere very important to be.
Small moments, fleeting moments — the ones you wish you could keep.
Over time, those moments grow, and you realize you don’t just want to remember — you want to share that remembering with others.
I am drawn to the way light falls and shadows stretch, to the quiet in-between moments, to the sparks that live inside people when they feel something deeply. Even though we hadn't met Taylor in-person before, she immediately blended right in with our family and friends and made everyone feel comfortable. We're looking forward to seeing the photos captured on that night.
Taylor was scheduled to shoot our wedding from 12:00pm to 9:00pm, but she arrived early, at around 11:30 to start taking detail photos. Her early arrival was unanticipated but definitely noticed and appreciated. Throughout the day, our bridal party kept remarking that they loved Taylor's direction and that it was something they hadn't experienced from photographers before. It was clear that Taylor had a vision for each of her shots, and she was able to pose a large group and execute the shot efficiently, not an easy task.
We recently received our preview gallery and are obsessed with the pictures. Our family and friends love them too, and we are so excited to see the full gallery.
